Chicago should become the 51st state in the United States. There are enough people in the city to become its own viable state. No matter how the rest of the counties in Illinois vote in elections it does not matter. The only thing that matters in Illinois is how Chicago votes. The high taxes in Illinois hardly benefit the people of the state, the tax money primarily gets funneled into Chicago. Let Chicago work among themselves on how to fix their fiscal problems, do not rely on the rest of Illinois to continue feeding their addiction.
