If I told you that I had an imaginary friend in the sky who talked to me and granted wishes upon request you would tell me I was insane. If I told you that if I followed a set of outdated archaic rules in a book written by humans that is several thousand years old in hopes to ascend to a golden palace in the clouds you would tell me I was crazy. If I told you we should ignore climate change because the end times will soon come and the earth doesn't matter you would tell me I was a fool. These are the foundations of modern Christianity.
Christianity promotes racism, homophobia, and ignorance. This mental illness stifles creativity, causes people to ignore basic scientific facts (such as evolution), and impedes human advancement all in the name of conformity and control.
