We petition the white house to make churches and other houses of worship go through the same steps as other non-profit organizations to get and maintain tax exempt status. Currently, churches are immediately tax exempt just because they are churches while other non profits must go through a lengthy process to get that same status. We feel that this violates the establishment clause of the first amendment of the constitution.
