We the people feel that the Confederate flag, a symbol of which that has stood for 150 years, and has been the symbol of hatred and prejudice, demand that it be removed from statehouses, government buildings, and related places of public government and all Confederate-related materials be placed in a museum to honor the past, and to learn from it, and why their symbolism should never be an excuse to harm or kill another human being. By keeping it in place as it is, and giving it substance, we give people the mistaken idea that it's okay to speak out hateful remarks, act with prejudice, and yell obscenities about minorities. Let's end that! Let's end it, today!
