We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Have Congress Repeal The National Firearms Act of 1934

Created by J.R. on May 06, 2016

Have Congress repeal the NFA (National Firearms Act). The NFA was enacted on June 26, 1934 by the 73rd Congress of the United States. Among other erroneous and intensely time consuming stipulations the NFA requires that anyone who is purchasing an NFA item (short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, machine guns, suppressors, "destructive devices", and "any other weapons") obtain approval from the ATF, obtain approval from your Chief Law Enforcement Officer, pass a background check, submit your photo and finger prints, register said NFA item with the ATF, and pay a $200 tax (per item). These gun control measures blatantly undermine the 2nd Amendment and only end up unjustly inhibiting law abiding citizens. It is about time we start peeling back these usurpations.
