Have Congress review the Student Loan Forgiveness Act to help students with paying back student loans

Created by M.C. on November 16, 2012

The Student Loan Forgiveness Act was already drafted and sent to Congress for review. There has been no action or response. Passing this Act could boost the spending power of the economy, provide an opportunity to pay off student loans, decrease mental issues that stem from the pressure of paying off debts too high to manage. Students are to blame if they take out school loans and have to repay. But who is at fault for increasing the overall price for a college degree that has sky rocketed in price over the years? Today a college degree is a requirement to live above the poverty levels and be considered "middle-class." Today, Americans have made a college education a battle of who can pay the most for their degree because without those student loans a degree is far from sight.
