Have the DEA stop pressuring Doctors to stop pain treatment for chronic conditions just because of cannabis use.

Created by W.C. on September 29, 2011

I have been in chronic pain because of psoriatic arthritis for over twelve years now. I had been taking anything and everything my doctor suggested to help including 200mg of morphine a day with sometimes more for breakthrough pain. Short of being a zombie from all those narcotics I found very little relief. I started smoking cannabis to help and I was able to cut my morphine use down to 120mg a day. It not only helped with the pain it also relaxed the muscles and helped my range of motion. Everything was good for a couple of years, I was managing my pain with fewer narcotics. Then one day my Doctor sent me for lab work which wasn't unusual, but it was for a drug screen. Cannabis was the least dangerous drug I was on. Even the WHO has stated that it is time to end this "war"...
