We the people, would like to ask the Justice Department to look at all the House of Representative's districts, both current and whenever they are redrawn, to avoid the practice of Gerrymandering.
Gerrymandering is a practice where the lines for a Representative's District are drawn so that they can create numerous "safe districts" where a candidate from a political party stands no chance of losing. This not only allows candidates to face little chance of being voted out, which is healthy for a good Government, but it also discourages voter turnout if people feel their vote won't matter.
The practice of Gerrymandering only invites for partisan politics when Representatives have no fear of being voted out of office. Let's put a stop to the corrupt practice that is Gerrymandering.
