Reason for removal from office; blocking open-air War Memorial monuments preventing veterans trying to visit their monuments during the recent government shut down. Without these courageous men and woman the director of the National Park Service would not have a chance to serve in such a position. It wouldn't be there for him. This is such a slap in the face to our veterans. These folks gave more than most in our country and to be blocked from visiting their lost brothers and sisters is unbelievable.
