College students already have so many difficulties on top of a hectic schedule. It is very stressful especially with the increases in tuition and gas. Now imagine being a college commuter. Thousands of commuters are in college full time, some even with a part time job. Driving around on a daily basis is becoming normal thing and it is a financial burden on a college commuters life.
I feel as if the government/state should issue gas discount cards to college commuters or even all college students. (Maybe raise the discount for the commuters as opposed to a regular student.) The college student would then present the discount card at the register of a (participating)gas station, along with there college identification card.
This process would really have a huge impact on a commuters life!
