The medical facilities rarely respect the patients' time. We are required to show up on time, and then often wait for an extended time (often, hours). This exhibits a complete lack of respect of the patients' rights to be seen timely and other commitments one might have, like getting back to work, pick up kids from somewhere.
Why is there no protection for the patients in this space?
