Our children from 8th grade through 12th grade are not learning enough to embark within the workforce that society needs. They are unable to read maps, count back with change, or even write in script. This is a major disappointment for our future. We have lack of discipline, and care from both the parents, and the children. Society should not be the one's who must pay for their education; it should be the parents who pay. Maybe that will ensure that these children learn and we might have the productivity that is needed to keep our infrastructure going. We are not making the grades, we are not first in industry, infrastructure, or over-all development as other countries. We are lagging behind, We're turning into the 3rd world country because of the lack of discipline and education.
