Have Eric Holder see if FL has violated the rights of minorities in regards to the Stand Your Ground Law

Created by R.T. on July 14, 2013

With the 20 year sentencing of Marissa Alexander (a black woman) for firing a warning shot in May 2013 then acquittal of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin in July 2013 it appears that Florida Stand Your Ground Law has not been equally applied when minorities are involved. The people are asking that the federal justice system examine if the civil rights of African Americans in the state of Florida are being violated when this law is applied.
