The lone remaining suspect in the Boston bombings, Dzohokhar Tsarnaev should be read his Miranda rights thus honoring the citizenship granted him by the United States.
To not do so would be to erode the due process available to all American citizens. The history of British tyranny from which the early colonists fled caused them set up the protections that we now enjoy. To jettison them because of an attack on Boston, historical sight of the war for those freedoms, would be shortsighted and disrespectful to their memory.
Furthermore a more idealistic standard of jurisprudence would only help wash away memories of the interrogation abuses of the last two decades.
