There is too much false information shown in all forms of news media. The Pinocchio Project seeks to have a policy enforced by the FCC that would ensure that the news media broadcasts true information. Despite disclaimers, false information can still be hazardous to the American public. The Pinocchio Project feels it's necessary for an amendment to be added to the FCC's policy on broadcasting false information. News provider should be fined with fees when they broadcast false information.
