Have the FCC prevent internet service providers (ISPs) from holding-stake in conflicting content/application business.

Created by P.I. on February 21, 2014

Changes to internet regulation now allows internet service providers (ISPs) and intermediary companies to prioritize internet traffic based-on each provider’s (or holding company’s) individual agenda/needs. These changes in priority of traffic creates unfair advantage for products/services, as-decided by the companies that deliver them, and removes adequate choice for consumers (through obscure means) to competing or closely-competing products and services. This petition seeks to separate ISPs from any business (or stake in any company) that creates or bundles products and/or services that can be delivered over those same networks.
