This is a petition to the government to create a space in Dmv offices that are dedicated to firearms. By treating firearms with the same regulations as vehicles, there will be a balanced approach on how to adhere to the second amendment and make sure that firearms are in responsible hands. These requirements such as, age limits, lisencing, registration, national datebases, and insurance. Will allow responsible gun owners to keep their weapons and limit the possibilities of firearms falling into the hands of mentally ill and irresponsible/ dangerous people. By using the current system, databases, offices, and regulation, costs to implement this should be minimal.
