When I went to a Mormon-run charter school one year, our American History class taught us about what is referred to as The Founding Father's 28 Principles of Liberty. These principles were set forth by our founding fathers as inalienable rights of the people of a free nation. If all students were taught these, we would have more people understanding what our government is allowed and not allowed to do. To learn more about these principles, visit http://www.nccs.net/newsletter/jul04nl.html . All 28 principles are listed there, along with extended descriptions of what each principle means. Please help me to get these principles out to the public! Remember: separation of church & state only means that the government is not allowed to force religion upon the citizens!
