Education is becoming a larger and larger problem in our country. Other countries are rapidly advancing and surpassing our education system as it stands.
The main problem is that, with the states being almost totally in control in each of their own schools, the money put towards education is dwindling. States, now trying to lower spending, are putting much of the burden on the education systems. This is a big mistake, because our country will be much weaker and less innovative down the road.
What I think the President needs to do is to sign an act that will guarantee that the states spend a given amount of money on education. This will secure America's future among the frontrunners in both education and innovation.
