Have groups of disabled and retirees with technical backgrounds provide teenagers with real world advice.

Created by T.G. on September 24, 2012

The creation of a job corp of technically experienced seniors with good communications skills who are available to be assigned to local school districts in order to provide people who have worked in engineering, computer programming, science, biology, web design, and other technical fields.
The idea is to provide teenagers with technical mentors and at the very least people who can speak openly about their experiences in the technical world. They can explain the challenges with managing engineers and scientists.
They could discuss tools such as time management, project management, team building, communications skills, and how to successful work with a variety of personalities.
Seniors could work part time and even some disabled people could participate.
