In the last three years, our media has been filled with crimes that relate to gun violence in this country. We must protect those in public and make it illegal to use firearms outside of the home or ranges specifically made for firearm use. The children of Newtown, the movie go-ers in Colorado, the schoolchildren of Columbine, and people who just merely need to go about their daily lives, are rudely interrupted by gun violence and haven't the immediate means to protect themselves. It may sound like an infringement on our Second Amendment rights, but in fact, this is to allow the people to still retain their rights but restrict them. We have seen far too much violence and we mustn't leave the people to chance. Take action, and please sign this for the sake of our countryfolk.
