Infertility has become an epidemic. More and more couples are having to turn to Fertility clinics to help realize their dream of becoming parents. My husband and I have been married for eight years. We have been trying to start a family for the last five years. We were told by doctors that our best chance of conceiving would be to seek fertility treatments. When we looked to see what our health insurance covered, we were in shock. Our health plan as it stands, only covers diagnostic testing.
Once the doctor does all the diagnostic testing and lets you know what he/she thinks the issues are and what treatment plan might work the best for you. It is all up to the individual to pay for that treatment, fertility medication and all other associated fees. The cost is astronomical.
