The modern US census is inadequate in recording and helping address economic disparities caused by modern racism. We ask the administration to address this by encouraging the Census Bureau to include ethnic Hispanic, ethnic Jew and ethnic Arab as races on the US census to help in recording the economic effects of racist sentiment on people of the Hispanic race who have not come from Latin America, post-911 racism against ethnic Arabs regardless of their religion, and modern Neo-Nazi racism against ethnic Jews regardless of their religion. We also ask that the Census do data collection on people who check multiple races on the Census (people of mixed race ancestry) to be analyzed and recorded as separate races as these people experience unique racism due to their mixed race ancestry.
