Have Honda America recall it's vehicles for an ongoing problem with the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light.

Created by T.S. on April 04, 2013

This is a safety issue of the utmost importance. Supposedly the airbags willl not deploy if this light is on. Honda is well aware of this problem. Consumers are charged approximately $100 each time the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light comes on which is at least once a year. I have contacted

Mail Stop: 500 - 2N - 7A
Torrance, CA 90501-2746
and various dealers and performed Internet searches for a resolution to this problem. Honda has an arbitrary cut off period of 10 years or 150,000 miles whichever comes first for fixing this problem. I feel that safety should be for the life of the vehicle. We are told it is a seatbelt issue, code 09-3. It is not.
