Have an honest, deep and televised dialogue about race relations in the U.S. and prevent tragedies like Freddie Gray.

All human life matters, yet with tragedies like Freddie Gray, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Walter Scott, and so many others, the extent to which black male life matters has been called into serious question. Collectively, we've been putting a band-aid on an out-of-control hemorrhage for far too long, and now that blood is spilling all over cities throughout our country. We have reached a tipping point and are calling upon our elected leadership (President Obama, Governors, Mayors, etc.) to be audacious enough to finally have a long overdue televised talk about race relations and how to effectively foster urban revitalization within inner-city communities. These recent tragedies are a gross indictment of America's long-ignored, often muted conversations about race relations and inequities.
