Many of the people who occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon have been allowed to walk away without any consequences.
We feel that this is a gross miscarriage of justice. We feel that laws which protect the public from violent extremism should be enforced equally regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation.
We are asking that President Obama ensure that any person who illegally occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We also ask that anyone who provided material support to the militants also be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
As such, we also feel that President Obama should recommend that the Oregon Militants be prosecuted as domestic terrorists.
