Police use of excessive force on peaceful OWS protesters.
The cornerstone of a Democracy is the right of it's citizens to express their views freely without fear or fear of retribution by those in power. Over the past weeks the Mayors of various cities across the USA have ordered their police Departments to stifle the rights of their citizens to freely express their concerns. The civil rights of US citizens have been continuously and systematically abused by those that are supposed to serve and protect. We request that the Justice Dept. investigate the willful use of brutal force by police Dept.s on peaceful protesters.If change can not be the result of peaceful protest , what is left except violence. Stop the abuse before it may cause violence by otherwise peaceful citizens.
