Youths should NOT be tried as adults OR given cruel & unfair sentences(20+yr). A minor is a minor & a crime should NOT change that. Youths should be punished for committing crimes just as anyone should, but not for life or sentences over 20 yrs. It isn't right to lock away a juvenile for the rest of his/her life while reoccurring adult offenders are released every single day & back within weeks. EVERYONE deserves a second chance to go up for rehabilitation/to the parole board to see if he/she is capable to come back into society. This is torture for youth offenders. Youth offenders deserve a second chance at life! Their time needs to be cut & he/she given a chance for rehabilitation or parole no later than 20 years no matter the circumstance. This should be retroactive & in all states!
