In the wake of New York passing one of the most restrictive gun control measures in our history, New York has firmly declared that liberty is no longer one of its founding principles. Lady Liberty stands to welcome those fleeing their own repressive countries (and most likely governments) for a new life of freedom here in the United States, and New York once stood as a shining city on a hill for those seeking such freedoms. This is now no longer the case, so I petition Lady Liberty to be moved to a state that still hold freedom and liberty in high regard. Possible options include but are not limited to: Indiana, Texas, Wyoming, Montana.
