Have level 2 and 3 Felonies be a 10 years Max with re-instatement of rights eligible. Opportunity to repent not reoffen

Created by D.A. on December 30, 2016

Give the person who made a mistake a chance to fix it. If you now get a felony of any degree, you get a life sentence, with all your rights gone, even with a DUI. There are good people who make mistakes and have a lot to offer society. They cant be on a borough council, cant make changes to our communities. I propose 10 years with no incarceration, be a contributing member of society, and earn your rights back. It may help stop repeat offenders if they have a chance to wright a wrong. Just like losing your license you pay a re-instatement fee. Even if there is a mental evaluation screen. There are 20 million Americans with felony records.
