There are many school shootings happening more and more. Gun control may not solve the problem all together, we need immediate action when situations like this happen.
I propose that all school campuses have mandatory armed security, government agents, or local police on site to monitor and protect these schools. If there is an onsite response team, situations like today's Newtown, Connecticut incident could have been distinguished.
Parents may feel safer knowing there are people there to protect their children and others.
Lastly, this effort could also benefit in creating more jobs across the nation as well as increasing our law enforcement readiness.
