There is no drug test currently required for many Government Service (GS) positions prior to starting a job in Government Service. There is no random drug testing for Government employees other than military members. When being hired in private sector jobs most large corporations require a drug test prior to employment; why doesn't the U.S. Government require a drug test to work for them?
