Have the media withhold the name or names of perpetrators of mass killings such as the recent school, shopping mall and theater shootings. The reason these people commit these acts are so they will be remembered. If we put a stop to sensationalizing the people who commit these horrible acts by having the media not use the names then these people who act out such atrocities will not be remembered for what they did. In doing this we remove one of the key motivations for committing such acts of violence on the innocent masses.
