Windows XP is still used by nearly 30% of the personal computers globally and by many of our infrastructure providers, to provide the US population with electricity, water, fuel, banking, and other essential services.
If the security updates are not continued, much of our industry will be at risk and there will more interruptions to our economy. Throwing away an estimated 100 million computers in the US alone, will cause significant environmental damage and waste $100 billion in premature and needless computer and related purchases.
