have more food at school lunches.

Created by J.M. on September 20, 2014

Schools are not giving people the amount of food that would benefit them. the average high school athlete needs 2000-4000 calories a day, and with the school lunches being almost 500, there is a major problem. under 1000 calories is not going to satisfy a student who have school for at least 7 hours a day, and an athlete who has an extra 2-5 hours of practice. The average person burns around 2000 calories a day by practically doing nothing. Athletes have passed out at practice because they didn't have enough to eat during lunch, and they cant eat a big meal right before practice either.
