have the National Park Service become custodians of the Alamo church and Alamo Plaza to insure preservation and respect.

Created by S.R. on November 23, 2012

Demand that Texas senators protect the Alamo by asking for the National Park Service to assume control.
The Texas Attorney General's recent Report to the Legislature concluded that the custodians failed to
properly preserve and maintain the Alamo, misused state funds for the organization’s own benefit, failed to recognize or address conflicts of interest, and allowed its own organizational prerogatives to interfere with its duty to act in the best interests of the State of Texas and the Alamo. The Texas Land office is keeping them on anyway! The City of San Antonio has never treated the battlefield they call Alamo Plaza with respect to honor the patriots who died there. The National Park Service can preserve and protect the Alamo for the nation, as a symbol of freedom and patriotism.
