Have a national referendum to establish term limitations for all members of Congress and the Senate.

Since it is unlikely that the politicians in this country will voluntarily vote for term limitations for members of Congress and the Senate in this country, perhaps we need to bypass this remote possibility and have a national referendum. Politicians have become too entrenched in Washington and have become more motivated to stay in power rather than voting on what is in the best interests of the American people. The strictly party line votes on many issues suggest that this is a serious problem in our government.
