Have no Prior Authorization required by Health Insurance companies for Life-Saving equipment/supplies

I have been diagnosed as having Severe Sleep Apnea, I am currently using a C-PAP machine. However, I need to replace some of the pieces of equipment and after waiting for almost a month for the pieces I ordered, have found out from my Health Insurance company that I need a Prior Authorization before they will allow the order to be placed. While I may be able to sleep without my C-PAP, I will inevitably stop breathing throughout the night, so to ensure I will not ever have to worry, as well as anyone else using a life-saving machine, I send in this petition that states that I believe there should be no need for a Prior Authorization to be submitted to Health Insurance companies for life-saving machine/equipment as well as any placing of orders for new equipment or replacement parts.
