Have non-government studies about marijuana to take out the bias of tobacco and alcohol commissions.

Created by C.S. on November 14, 2012

All anti-drug studies that the government sighted in their response to the petition were government run. Since they were government run they were and are susceptible to lobbying. Studies done by the government on marijuana are either biased to support already existing policy or funded by the lobbying groups of big tobacco, alcohol, or materials makers that have known since the early fourties that hemp would be a cheaper and more efficient alternative to their product. All of these lobbies have obvious reasons for not wanting marijuana (and by extension hemp) to be a legal product and for it be thought of as a dangerous product. The government should base their policy on unbiased reports.
