Have pets protected under full law. No more shooting of innocent pets with no legitimate reason.

The shooting of the poor dog was just too much, we need to have some way to protect our pets and make it illegal for shootings like that. It disgusts me that it was legal because the dog was "worrying" the animals and the man won't serve any jail time. I certainly do not want this happening to my dog, or anyone else's. We need the government to step in and help save our pets lives before it's too late for another little dog, cat, bird, horse, or ANYTHING that one can call pet.
