We, the signers of this petition, would like Barrack Obama to explain where the transparency platform he was elected on went.
We would like to know why you deem it necessary to hide programs such as PRISM from the public, a tool used for spying on the people who elected you in good faith to uphold the constitution as well as monitor the whole world, from China to our allies in England.
We the undersigned, representing a significant chunk of the American public, did not elect you to interpret the constitution as you see fit to "protect us" by spying on a vast swath of the population and gagging individuals and corporations to avoid public outcry effecting your gross overreach of power.
We want you to explain how this is not a harmful tool and why you think you are doing us a service.
