President or any other elected official can use government transportation for official uses, only. These uses cannot include political purposes, nor vacations. If the elected official use these modes of travel for political or vacations, they must reimburse the government the entire amount of the cost of usage. Any other person, other than staff must pay a nominal price for riding with the elected official, ie. friends, reporters, etc.
