Considering that Americans in favor of gun control legislation has decreased significantly over recent years, and the latest tragedies have barely spiked this percentage. Why is any type of the above mentioned legislation on the table for discussion. In fact it's widely known that this gun violence task force's primary objective is gun control. Regardless of what becomes of it, I feel the American people deserve an answer as to why Mr. President pushes for something the majority does not want.
