With the passing of Antonin Scalia, President Obama has the opportunity and authority to shift the Supreme Court to better reflect Democratic values. He needs to nominate an individual with the credentials, intelligence, integrity and experience fitting of the position.
We believe President Obama is the perfect candidate to meet the requirements of a Supreme Court Justice. He has first-hand experience in both the legislative and executive branches and among the best training in the country as an attorney. His experience as a professor of constitutional law gives him a strong grounding in constitutional principles.
A Justice Obama would be able to protect the legacy of President Obama. Barack Obama is an amazing public servant; we want to see him stay in government.
