Barack Obama is the first American President to include support for LGBT rights in an inaugural address. The President should back up his words with actions.
While in office, very American President serves as Honorary President of the Boy Scouts of America. President Obama can easily and unilaterally demonstrate his support for LGBT equality by resigning from this post.
The President should end all association with the Boy Scouts of America immediately, and promise to return only if and when the Boy Scouts' National Leadership council unequivocally agrees to immediate and total equality for gay scouts.
