We the people of America would like to invite President Obama to participate in running the 118th Boston Marathon in the year 2014. His participation would be a poignant expression of solidarity and a symbol of the resilience of the American people. The President's participation in the marathon could also be met with the encouragement of citizens all across America to join in a healthy way of expressing solidarity by going on a run wherever they may be. Even if President Obama could not realistically run the whole Marathon, it would even be great if ran a mile or two.
