The President should proclaim the original unaltered theatrical versions of the Star Wars trilogy a national treasure and request that Disney re-master and release them on Blu-Ray and DVD.
Another option is to gain permission for the Library of Congress to re-master its copies and sell them, with all proceeds of sales, after recouping the cost, to benefit the Library of Congress.
This effort would not only be popular in the United States, but to the millions of Star Wars fans worldwide.
