In order for the President to achieve a true understanding of what his opponents believe is a weakness that he possesses, I would like to see the President learn how to shoot a military service rifle and achieve a level of proficiency equivalent to a basic marksmanship badge issued by the armed forces.
The US Marine Corps provides Fundamental Rifle Marksmanship (FRM) training to all Marine Corps recruits. They are capable of providing this type of training.
I belive that in doing this, he would gain a measure of credibility with gun rights proponents that skeet shooting would not necessarily provide.
As Commander in Chief, it is also fitting that he display a degree of Military readiness.
I would like to see the President accomplish this goal within twelve weeks time.
