Have the President of the United States personally respond to the highest rated petitions on the We the People forum.

Created by D.H. on June 10, 2013

Re-democratization of the United States is the perhaps the most important issue of our times. Unfortunately it is frequently overshadowed by the flashy and media-clogging red herring issues that too often divert attention from problems of far greater magnitude and import.

We the people, despite the sheer weight of our diversity and differences, can undeniably agree that we are, amongst all other things, practical and pragmatic.

Therefore, though broad, sweeping, petitions urging the federal government to fix the economy, to listen to their constituents, or even simply to stop the petty bickering that so succinctly describes modern politics, are more satisfying and direct, it seems much more practical to start small.
So let's start with some direct constituent-to-president dialogue.
