President Obama may not have been everyone's ideal choice, but secession is not the way to solve things. We are the UNITED States of America, and we have survived on our ideals for many years. At this crucial time for our country, there are arguments and discussions of secession. This is pitiful; we should be coming together at times like these, putting our minds together for the greater good. As John F. Kennedy said in his inaugural speech, "Let both sides explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us... And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country." We all owe our lives to our country; without it we would not have our individual freedoms that we have today.
Just something to consider.
